SUBSTRATES

Substrates are the material to which the lettering and graphics are applied. For example, glass is the substrate for window graphics and the aluminum is the substrate for an aluminum "stop" sign.

Substrates

ACRYLIC (PLEXIGLAS) (LUCITE)

- Can be formed with heat for such specialty products as business card holders, point of purchase displays, etc.
- Available in clear, white and basic colors.
- Used in illuminated box signs, as well as interior and exterior vinyl signage.

CORRUGATED PLASTIC (COROPLAST)

- Lightweight plastic used in vinyl and screen printing.
- Available in most basic colors.
- Appearance shows ribbing on front and back.
- Ideal for Real Estate Signs and Yard Signs.

POLYCARBONATE (LEXAN) 

- Same appearance as Acrylic but is a high impact-resistant material.
- Available in white and clear, but can be covered with any color vinyl.
- Recommended for use when a customer has a vandal problem such as rocks being thrown at their existing sign.

PVC (POLY VINYL CHLORIDE)

- An opaque substrate.  The same material has been used in plumbing for years.
- Available in most basic colors.
- Weather and flame resistant.  Great for interior/exterior signage.

MDO (MEDIUM DENSITY OVERLAY)

- A wood product used primarily in exterior signage.
- Only available in white, yet it can be covered with any color vinyl.

NUDO BOARD

- MDO Board with a white plastic laminate applied to it.  
- As with MDO, Nudo only comes in white, but we can coat it with any color vinyl.
- Great for commercial signage and construction signs.

NU-ALUM

- Created with an aluminum sheet coating an MDO board.  This combines the durability of MDO with the professional appearance of aluminum.
- Available in most colors.
- Ideal for outdoor signage.

ALUMINUM

- Typically used in commercial signage, industrial signage, or US DOT (Department of Transportation).
- Will not rust.
- We have reflective material for emergency signage.

VINYL BANNER

- Available in most colors.
- Extremely high visibility.
- Very Durable.

MAGNETIC SHEETING

- Available in white.  Different colors can be applied.
- Extremely durable if properly maintained.
- Perfect for removable car decals.
